Our Story

Founded by Mariely and Juan Cerrato, from of Honduras, El Patio was born out of their passion for sharing the tastes of their homeland with the community they now call home. With over 10 years of combined experience in the restaurant industry, Mariely y Juan set out to create a cozy and welcoming space where guests can savor traditional Honduran dishes made with love and care.

Where we bring the vibrant flavors and rich culinary traditions of Honduras to Seattle. With more than 10 years on Aurora avenue. Nestled in the heart of the city, El Patio offers an authentic Honduran dining experience like no other.

We source ingredients locally whenever possible to support our neighbors and reduce our environmental impact.

We also believe in giving back, and regularly contribute to local charities and events that align with our values of community, diversity, and inclusion.
